Hello! Hello!

I’m Kellie and I’m so happy to meet you! I’m originally from Utah but have called Texas home for the past 6 years. I have been married to my awesome (and incredibly talented hubs) for 16 years and have been blessed to be called “mom” for the past 9 years.

In 2017, my husband and I started our own home inspection business where he inspected the homes, and I ran the office and marketing sides of the business. I was able to bring more than 10 years of administrative and customer service experience into my role and learned so much more along the way. I also realized how much I loved and missed working with and helping others, something I hadn’t done for several years prior to starting our business.

However, during COVID we realized that the home inspection business was no longer the right fit for our family, so we closed our doors. Shortly after closing the business, I felt like something was missing, and I really missed being able to help others. So, I took what I’d learned from running the home inspection business with my husband and started my own business.

In 2021, I launched The Simple Assistant, and have been loving life as a virtual assistant ever since!

Running The Simple Assistant has given me the opportunity to work with many different clients in different capacities (creating email marketing campaigns, processing invoices, creating graphics and scheduling social media posts, and my latest adventure in web design and support), I have loved being able to assist so many individuals in different ways.

After taking a short break to focus on myself and my family, I am back and more excited than ever to continue doing what I love!
